Everything you need to know about WalkOn.
WalkOn is a macOS menu bar app that plays your entrance music when you join a video call. It detects Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, Slack Huddles, and FaceTime, then plays your chosen song through your speakers so everyone on the call hears your entrance.
WalkOn monitors for active video calls in the background. When it detects you've joined a call, it shows a prompt asking if you want to make your entrance. Hit the button and your walk-on music plays through your speakers. Your microphone picks it up and transmits it to everyone on the call.
Most video call apps have noise cancellation turned on by default. This filters out non-voice sounds like music playing from your speakers. You'll need to turn it down or off in your call app. This is usually a one-time setting.
